Dustin is a native Chicagoan hailing from the north shore suburbs. For Blank, Dustin directed Songs for a New World: in Concert and appeared on stage as Georg in Spring Awakening and The Chairman in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Most RECENTLY, dustin toured new england in little bits of light with Hampstead Stage Company. His favorite acting credits include:Camelot (Janus Concert Series); 25th…Spelling Bee, Funny Girl (Madkap Productions); The History Boys (Eclectic Full Contact Theatre); Hair, Ragtime (Big Noise Theatre); Chekov’s The Wedding (Red Theatre); Parade (Harper Ensemble Theatre); The Rocky Horror Show (Underscore Theatre Company). Additionally, Dustin has worked with Lifeline Theatre, Pride Films & Plays, Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co., Brightside Theatre, Citadel Theatre, Benevolent Theatre, and Jedlicka Performing Arts Center. Danny Kapinos is a Chicago-based freelance director, music director, and accompanist. He recently directed Blank Theatre Company’s inaugural production,Spring Awakening. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, where directing credits include productions of My Fair Lady and Tony Kushner’s Only We Who Guard the Mystery Shall Be Unhappy and credits as a music director include The Secret Garden, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Songs for a New World, and Elephant & Piggie’s We Are In a Play. Credits as an assistant include Becky Shaw (Windy City Playhouse) and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Filament Theatre).

Aaron is an native Ohioan that has traveled quite a few places before ending up in what he feels to be his true home, Chicago. Some of his favorite credits include Slide (Chicago Music Theater Festival), Oliver! (Citadel Theater), “Sir Robin” in Spamalot (WTC), and “Mr. Mushnik” in Little Shop of Horrors (WTC). Additionally, he’s also done multiple national recordings for Music Theatre International (MTI) in New York including Sweeney Todd, The Sound of Plaid, and Miss Saigon. Aaron is a graduate from Nebraska Wesleyan University with his BFA in Theatre Studies.


Andra Beatty


Andra Beatty is originally from Dublin, Ohio and is a proud alum of both Interlochen Arts Academy High School and The Theatre School at DePaul University where she graduated with a degree in Acting in 2017. Her favorite credits so far include being featured on the final season of Joe Swanberg’s “Easy” on Netflix, and touring with Hampstead Stage Company where she will return in Fall 2019. Andra is thrilled to be part of the Blank Theatre team and excited to use her strengths and passion for accessibility and community engagement to propel the company forward.




Nick McKenzie is a native Chicagoan who studied Business & Marketing at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He spends his days crafting websites, analyzing data, and creating digital content to help build organic relationships between organizations and individuals. Additionally, he has managed promotion distribution for Steppenwolf, Broadway in Chicago, Looking Glass, and many more theatres in the Chicago-area. He’s excited to be a part of Blank Theatre Company and is looking forward to adding his vision to the mix.

Britta Lynn SchlichT

(Company Member, Casting Associate)

Britta Lynn Schlicht is a Chicago-based choreographer and arts educator. Her work was most recently seen in Blank Theatre’s premiere production of Spring Awakening. Previous choreographic credentials include Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Gypsy, The Little Mermaid, Nevermore, The Glass Menagerie (Jedlicka Performing Arts Center); RENT (Middleton Players Theatre); These Violent Delights: A Romeo and Juliet Cabaret (Kite and Key Theatre), BEERS (Prop Thtr); and A Christmas Carol and 13(Improv Playhouse). In addition to her work in Chicago theatre, Britta is a proud Chicago Public Schools arts educator having recently joined the teaching staff at Andrew Jackson Language Academy (Drama and Dance teacher). Alisée Cattebeke

(Artistic Associate)

Alisée Cattebeke is currently a student at Columbia College Chicago, majoring in Live and Performing Arts Management. Originally from Belgium, she now calls Chicago her home. After starting as an intern for Blank Theatre Company and working as an Assistant Stage Manager on Spring Awakening, she is thrilled to now join the team as an Artistic Associate. Previous Box Office and Theatre Administration experience includes Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Chicago Opera Theater, and The Cuckoo’s Theater Project.
